 Preparation of the Papers

 

Authors must submit scientific papers (4-page Full Paper or 1-page Short Paper) to be accepted for presentation in oral or poster sessions.

 

Two types of papers are accepted for review:

 

u  Full Paper: up to 4 pages, including a 10-line abstract

u  Short Paper (Work-in-Progress): 1-page paper         

 

All papers are subject to review by the Scientific Committee of the ISBS Conference 2008. Papers accepted for presentation will be published in the Scientific Proceedings of the XXVI ISBS Conference 2008.

 

Please follow the respective author instructions to prepare the paper.

It is advised to use the sample papers as templates to reduce format variations. Papers do not comply with the author instructions will be returned to the authors immediately with no review. It is also advised to use the spelling/grammar checker of the word processer program before the paper is submitted.

 

 Paper Submission Process

 Submission Deadlines

 

 

u  Deadline for paper submission is April 30, 2008.

u  Authors will be notified of the review results via email by May 15.

u  Deadline for resubmission of the revised papers is May 31.

 

 Instruction for Preparing the Presentations

 

The poster and oral presentation schedule will be posted on the ISBS Conference 2008 Website. Detailed instructions for the PowerPoint presentations and poster presentations will be posted at a later date. While the preferred presentation format requested by the authors will be honored as much as possible, the presentation format (oral or poster) will be officially determined by the Scientific Committee. Authors will be informed of presentation type and date by e-mail as well.

 

 VISA Application & Invitation Letter
